CAMP INFORMATION

The Little Big Riding School is the longest running western riding school for little people in the Santa Ynez Valley and surrounding areas!

Kids just love Cindy and her camps!

Cindy's famous summer and winter camps are a favorite for boys and girls (ages 6 and up).

Her programs are a great place for your children to make friends and learn valuable life skills. In fact, many of her students enjoy the camps so much they come back for after-school lessons from Cindy all year round!

Kid's Basic Week-Long Camps, 2024

Ages 6 and up.

In the Basic Camp there's a ton of on-horse time! Horses are shared with a class partner, and students come up with a weekly theme; activities include horseback riding lessons, trail riding, horse grooming, crafts related to the camp theme, a horse decorating contest on the last day, and much, much more.

THIS CAMP IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS.

For more serious students, this class is about coming to the barn and caring for your own horse. Horses are not shared. Students will have the same horse all week and will learn riding, horse bathing, general equine care, trail skills, and more.

Sorry, no horse decorating or arts and crafts in this camp.

Camp 5 : Basic camp July 29 - August 2 Basic

NOTE: Parents are always welcome to attend the camps, and are usually amazed with the skills that their children learn in just a week!

Lunches are not included (must be brought each day).

Cindy's famous Winter Camp is a favorite for younger riders in the Santa Ynez Valley and surrounding areas, and a great way to add something special to the holiday spirit!

If you're visiting family, sign up for a few days of special horse fun!

If you're up for a winter trail ride, LBRS can accommodate that, too!

Space is limited!

Class times run from 9:00 am to 12 pm M-F.

In addition to horseback riding and other activities, this camp includes a Christmas-themed horse decorating contest on the last day, with gifts for all!
